What is the PTA?
Hugger's PTA is a group of parent and teacher volunteers that work with the teachers, staff and school to plan, fund and host events and educational programs for the school. All parents/teachers are welcome and encouraged to join the PTA and support the school community.
What does the PTA do?
The PTA hosts events and programs for the school community. All PTA hosted events and programs are fully funded by PTA fundraisers, with the Fun Run being the primary source of income each year. All funds raised (except 5th grade fundraisers) go toward efforts that benefit ALL grade levels at the school and include such things as:
- 14+ School wide events
- 13+ School wide programs
- 13+ Student Enrichments
- Monthly staff appreciation gifts and snacks
- Teacher grants available for all teachers

- Low Cost & No Commitment Required - PTA membership is only $10 per person and you are not required to commit any additional time or energy towards PTA efforts unless you want to.
How to join the PTA?
- Create an account on the Hugger Hub website (Membership Toolkit mobile app).
- Click on the "Store" tab.
- Purchase a "Membership", You can purchase a single membership or a 2 parent/faculty membership.
- PTA Members need to purchase a new membership each school year in order to be active PTA members.

- Weekly Hugger Highlights email (sent to all registered PTA members)
- Monday Note emails from Marnie Barker (Hugger's Principal)
- PTA Meetings - hosted every other month at 7pm in Hugger's Library. EVERYONE is welcome to attend!
